Wedding Envy: Moore & Moore

I’m so in love with this wedding at Moore & Moore, shot by Samm Blake. Art! Eclectic vintage furniture! Food that is basically art! Lanterns! Fremantle! Rustic goodness! It’s everything I want my wedding to be, and a few things I didn’t realise I wanted it to be.

Unfortunately it looks like it wasn’t meant to be, as they don’t do day time functions and the cost for a sit down meal is a bit out of our budget. A cocktail function is actually very affordable and BYO drinks (plus corkage, but considering the markup most function centres and restaurants charge on drinks you’d still end up far better off), but we really want to serve a meal, so no go for us. I admit to having a weaker moment of considering increasing our budget just so we could have such a cool venue, but logic and frugality won out in the end. I’m definitely keeping this place in mind for smaller parties in the future though!
