Wedding by the river
I’m really in love with this wedding! The whites, the wood textures, the potted plant decorations, the loungey couches… it’s really making me rethink whether I want to do the traditional sit-down meal in a typical venue type wedding. With all the furniture hire I doubt this kind of setup would be any less expensive than a traditional venue (and probably a lot more work!), but it’s just so lovely and different.
I’ve also discovered that looking at blogs of local wedding photographers is both a great way to find a photographer that you like the style of, and a way to see how different venues can look set up for a wedding. It’s also great for locally appropriate ideas and inspiration, like the wedding above! This photographer, Angela Higgins, has some gorgeous work so definitely one I’ll keep watching.

Great blog idea, Chisa
In case Angela doesn’t/hasn’t gotten back to you, I went to high school with Annika, and could ask her where she hired her furniture if you like. Just let me know if you do.
Good luck with the planning xx
Thanks Lulu! I actually found the company that hires out the furniture, and judging by the amount of times they say ‘upscale’ and ‘exclusive’ I have a feeling they’re out of my price range >_> Sent them an email just in case though.
Villa Kula rent the lounge furniture & effects.
